Reiko Tashiro

Reiko Tashiro is a 60-year-old intercultural management professional based in Kobe, Japan. She is the daughter of Toshiko Tanaka, a survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing. Reiko has been instrumental in helping her mother share her harrowing experiences from that day, translating questions from English to Japanese during her mother's public speaking engagements. Their collaboration has not only facilitated meaningful dialogue about the impacts of nuclear warfare but has also strengthened their mother-daughter bond.
