Reinaldo Funes

Reinaldo Funes is a professor of environmental history at the University of Havana, known for his research on the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation in Cuba, particularly how historical practices, such as the sugar industry, have contributed to the current vulnerability of the island to extreme weather events.
