Reshma Roopram

Reshma Roopram is a Dutch politician of Surinamese descent, known for her advocacy on social issues and her strong belief in inclusive leadership. Born into a politically active family, she has previously served as a local council member in Barendrecht and was a candidate for the chairmanship of the Labour Party (PvdA) in the Netherlands. Roopram, who gained recognition as Miss Universe Netherlands in 2001, now works as a program leader at FNO, focusing on support for vulnerable communities.
