Revka Grinspun

Revka Grinspun is a Jewish economist and diplomat from Costa Rica, currently serving as the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) since 2021. She is a leading candidate for the next Secretary-General of the United Nations, having received the highest support in the recent informal voting by the UN Security Council. Born to Holocaust survivors, Grinspun has previously held prominent positions in both her country and the UN, advocating for reforms and humanitarian cooperation.
