Reyes Rigo Cervilla

Reyes Rigo Cervilla is a Spanish activist from Mallorca, approximately 50 years old, who has gained attention after being detained in Israel during the Global Sumud Flotilla, which aimed to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. She is currently incarcerated in the Ketziot maximum-security prison, facing allegations of having bitten a prison medical officer, a claim contested by fellow activists who report violent treatment by prison authorities. Rigo, who operates an acupuncture center in Palma, has publicly stated that the flotilla represents an act of resistance and dignity for the Palestinian people.
