Rhema Otabor is a rising star in the world of women's javelin throw, currently competing for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. At just 22 years old, she has already made her mark by becoming the national record holder in the women’s javelin event, erasing a 24-year-old record previously held by Laverne Eve. In 2024, she made her Olympic debut, defended her NCAA DI javelin title, and was crowned both the national and Big Ten javelin champion.
