Rialda Kadrić

Rialda Kadrić was a celebrated Serbian actress, best known for her iconic role as Marija in the popular television series 'Žikina dinastija' during the late 1970s and 1980s, where she became a beloved figure in Yugoslav cinema. Born in Belgrade in June 1963, she began her acting career at a young age and gained fame for her portrayal of a high school student navigating first love and unexpected challenges. After her initial success, Kadrić transitioned away from acting, pursuing a career in journalism and psychoanalysis, eventually working for the Voice of America and specializing in psychotherapy. Tragically, she passed away in Athens in 2021 from a heart attack, a fate reminiscent of her character's dramatic life in the series.
