Richard Neville
Richard Neville was a prominent Australian journalist and co-founder of the satirical magazine Oz, known for his countercultural activism. In 1977, he traveled to India with his partner Julie Clarke to interview Charles Sobhraj, the infamous 'Bikini Killer,' who was imprisoned at the time. Their interactions formed the basis of their acclaimed book, 'The Life and Crimes of Charles Sobhraj,' which was later adapted into various media, including the Netflix series 'The Serpent.' Neville's work left a significant mark on crime journalism until his death in 2016.
