Richard Pegum

Richard Pegum is the chairman of the trainers association in New South Wales and serves as the executive chairman of ASX-listed Pacific Lime and Cement, a company that supplies building materials in Papua New Guinea. He is recognized for his extensive business experience, which led to his appointment on the inaugural board of the Australian government-backed Papua New Guinea NRL team. Recently, Pegum has been in the news due to rising tensions within the racing industry, where some members have called for a vote of no-confidence in Racing NSW's leader, Peter V’landys.
