Richard Tamfu

Richard Tamfu is a Cameroonian lawyer who gained attention for his vocal criticism of police abuses and has been a victim of such violence himself. He was reportedly assaulted by gendarmes in Douala, leading to his hospitalization, and has since called for justice and accountability in response to the increasing aggression towards lawyers in the country.
