Richard Wilmer Rojas Ramos

Richard Wilmer Rojas Ramos is an agronomist and the newly appointed general manager of the Empresa de Apoyo a la Producción de Alimentos (Emapa) in Bolivia. He was named to the position following the ousting of Franklin Flores, amid criticisms regarding management issues such as unpaid debts to producers and food shortages. Rojas is a graduate of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés and holds a master's degree in Environmental Management and Evaluation from the Universidad Tecnológica Boliviana. He is committed to advancing the industrialization process and ensuring food security in the country by focusing on strategic crops such as maize, rice, soy, and wheat.
