Ridwan Yahaya

Dr. Ridwan Yahaya serves as the National AMR Focal Point for Human Health and is also the AMR Programme Manager at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC). He focuses on establishing antimicrobial stewardship programmes across healthcare facilities in Nigeria to ensure responsible antibiotic prescribing and dispensing. Yahaya's efforts are aimed at raising awareness among healthcare workers regarding the rational use of antimicrobials to mitigate the spread of resistance in communities.
