Rifaat

Rifaat was a dedicated paramedic who volunteered with the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Gaza. He tragically lost his life while responding to emergency calls amidst escalating violence in the region. Just moments before his death, he left a poignant message expressing his commitment to helping others, which was captured on his phone. His mother, Umm Muhammad, described him as a brave and compassionate individual who often risked his life to transport injured people for medical treatment, including crossing into Egypt for care. Rifaat's death, along with 14 other paramedics in the same incident, has drawn international attention and calls for an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding their killings.
