Rimel Miah

Rimel Miah, a 22-year-old from the northern Bangladeshi village of Muruyadah in the Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha, has recently been reported as a prisoner in Ukraine. His family, struggling with financial hardship, had hoped that Rimel's work abroad in Russia would alleviate their difficulties. Instead, his unexpected detention has left his parents, Syed Ali and Rekha Begum, in distress, as they worry about his well-being and the growing burden of their circumstances.
