Ripa Khatun

Ripa Khatun, 26, is a resident of Gadkhali village in the Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore, Bangladesh. She has faced significant personal challenges, including a divorce four years ago, which led her to live with her son at her father's home. Recently, she was in the news after being severely burned along with her family due to a violent reaction from a local man when she refused his marriage proposal.
