Risto Siilasmaa
Risto Siilasmaa is a Finnish entrepreneur and the founder of WithSecure, originally established as Data Fellows in 1988. He played a pivotal role in the cybersecurity industry, particularly in the development of F-Secure, which was renamed in 1999 and became publicly traded on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. Siilasmaa has recently been in the news for leading a consortium, alongside CVC Capital Partners, to acquire WithSecure for nearly 300 million euros, with the aim of enhancing its position in the European cybersecurity market.
