Robert Asembo

Robert Asembo is a Kenyan advocate of the High Court and a candidate for the chairperson position of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC). He previously served as the deputy president of the Football Kenya Federation from 2011 to 2016. Asembo recently made headlines as he defended himself against numerous allegations of misconduct during an interview for the IEBC role, including concerns about his integrity, financial mismanagement, and disciplinary cases presented by the Law Society of Kenya. Despite these challenges, he maintains his innocence and has expressed a commitment to enhancing transparency and trust in the electoral process if appointed.
