
Robert Boyle
Robert Boyle (1627-1691) was an Anglo-Irish natural philosopher, chemist, and physicist, best known for his contributions to modern chemistry and for formulating Boyle's Law, which describes the relationship between the pressure and volume of a gas. He is considered one of the founders of modern scientific methodology and the Royal Society. His legacy continues to influence scientific thought and practice.
