Robert de Anjou

Robert de Anjou, also known as Robert of Anjou, was a King of Hungary from the House of Anjou who ruled from 1308 to 1342. He is known for his ambitious expansionist policies and military campaigns, notably his conflict with Basarab I of Wallachia, which culminated in the significant battle of Posada in 1330. This defeat had lasting implications for Hungarian aspirations in the region.
