Robert Holley

Robert Holley was an esteemed American biochemist renowned for his work on the structure of transfer RNA (tRNA) and its role in protein synthesis. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1968 alongside Marshall Nirenberg and Har Gobind Khorana for his significant contributions to the understanding of the genetic code.
