Robert J. O’Neill

Robert J. O'Neill is a former Navy SEAL and one of the operators involved in the mission that killed Osama bin Laden on May 2, 2011. He gained notoriety for his role in the high-stakes operation during which bin Laden was located and killed in Abbottabad, Pakistan. O'Neill's firsthand account of the mission has contributed to the public's understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by the U.S. military in the hunt for the Al-Qaeda leader.
