Robert Messenger

Robert Messenger is a Canberra-based typewriter collector and historian, known for his expertise in typewriter restoration and repair. At 77 years old, he is one of the few remaining typewriter repairers in Australia and has witnessed a resurgence in interest among younger generations. He believes that the appeal of typewriters lies in a growing desire to move away from the distractions of digital technology and embrace a more tactile, focused writing experience.
