Robert Moracchini

Robert Moracchini, aged 65, was known as a founding member of the criminal gang La Brise de mer. He was killed in Bastia on March 29, 2024, in a shooting incident that sparked an investigation into organized crime. Moracchini had a long history with the police and justice system, including a high-profile trial in the 1980s for the assassination of a nightclub manager, from which he was acquitted. In his later years, he was a businessman in Bastia and famously climbed Mount Everest in May 2023 at the age of 63.
