Robert S. Kamei

Robert S. Kamei was a prominent Liberian agriculturist and politician who served as Nimba County's first postwar superintendent after being appointed by President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf in 2006. He played a critical role in managing land disputes and reducing tensions among tribal groups during a challenging postwar period, implementing solutions that helped stabilize the region. Kamei was known for his selfless leadership and commitment to community development, overseeing efforts to rebuild infrastructure and promote peace in Nimba County until his death in February 2025.
