Roberto Bertaggia

Roberto Bertaggia was a 36-year-old Italian tourist from Nesso, Lago di Como, who tragically drowned while on vacation in Portugal. During a visit to Porto with friends, he was swept away by a large wave while walking on a pier at Foz do Douro on February 15, 2025. Despite extensive search efforts by local authorities, his body was recovered two days later, leading to an outpouring of grief from his family and community.
