Roberto Carlos Montoya Valdez was a 52-year-old Guatemalan man who tragically died after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to flee from immigration agents outside a Home Depot store in Southern California. At the time of the incident, officials stated that he was not being actively pursued by immigration authorities.
