Roberto de Lorenzo is an Italian athlete and hotel receptionist from Florence, who has embarked on an extraordinary journey to become the first person to run in every country in the world. With a passion for running that he describes as a natural way of movement and relaxation, he has already completed runs in 72 countries. His project, titled 'Running out of countries,' combines his love for travel, geography, and culture. De Lorenzo's recent visit to Almaty, Kazakhstan, marked the 72nd country on his running journey, where he explored the city’s beautiful parks and scenic views, including a memorable ascent to Kok-Tobe. He emphasizes that running allows him to deeply experience and connect with the places he visits, and he continues to plan future routes while working in Italy.
