Roberto Ventura Santos

Roberto Ventura Santos is a prominent Brazilian geologist and former director of the Companhia de Pesquisa de Recursos Minerais (CPRM). He is currently a professor at the University of Brasília (UnB) and has contributed significantly to the understanding of the geological history of the Rio Grande Rise, a submerged mountain range off the Brazilian coast. His research focuses on the economic potential of mineral resources in this area, which is believed to be remnants of the ancient supercontinent Gondwana.
