Robin Malte Schneider

Robin Malte Schneider is a German national who was arrested in Paraguay on August 25, 2023, as part of an international operation targeting fraud. He was wanted for a massive scam in Germany that involved faking over 1.9 million COVID-19 tests, resulting in a loss of more than 21 million euros to a medical association in Lower Saxony. After being detained for five months in Paraguay, he was extradited to Germany on January 17, 2024, where he was sentenced to eight years in prison for serious fraud. In addition to his criminal charges in Germany, Schneider faces ongoing legal issues in Paraguay related to money laundering linked to his fraudulent activities.
