Rodolfo Rohrmoser Valdeavellano was a distinguished Guatemalan jurist and former president of the Constitutional Court (CC), known for his role in declaring the 1993 autogolpe by President Jorge Serrano Elías unconstitutional. Serving as a magistrate from 1991 to 1996 and again from 2001 to 2006, he was a key figure in defending democratic institutions and the rule of law during critical periods in Guatemala's political history. He also held various legal and diplomatic positions, including ambassador to the United States and professor in law programs.
