Rodrigo Serra

Rodrigo Serra is a prominent biologist and conservationist known for his extensive work in the reintroduction and conservation of the Iberian lynx in Portugal. He has played a pivotal role in the establishment of breeding centers and collaborative conservation efforts between Portugal and Spain. Often referred to as a colleague and mentee of the late Pedro Sarmento, Serra has been deeply involved in the ongoing efforts to ensure the survival of the Iberian lynx, contributing to its recovery from near extinction.
