Rodrigo Velloso Cabral

Rodrigo Velloso Cabral was a 34-year-old civil police officer in Brazil, recently assigned to the 39th Police District in Pavuna. Tragically, he lost his life during a significant police operation aimed at combating organized crime in Rio de Janeiro, where he was struck by a bullet in the neck. His death, along with that of three other officers, occurred amidst a large-scale effort known as Operation Contenção, which involved thousands of law enforcement personnel targeting the Comando Vermelho drug faction. Rodrigo was known for his love of family, often sharing moments with his wife and daughter, and was an avid supporter of the Botafogo football club.
