Roger Alfaro

Roger Alfaro, a Nicaraguan climber and student of Agricultural Engineering at the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED), tragically died while attempting to scale the Cayambe volcano in Ecuador. Known for his passion for exploring and photographing volcanoes, he had previously conquered peaks in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. His family, residing in Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, Costa Rica, is seeking assistance to repatriate his body following his untimely death due to a fall during the climb.
