Rokas Karpis

Rokas Karpis, previously known as Rokas Karpavicius, is a notorious figure in international drug trafficking, having been dubbed the 'global kingpin' during his trial in New Zealand for drug smuggling. After fleeing New Zealand on bail in 2001 and evading capture for a decade, he was extradited and sentenced to over 11 years in prison, later paroled in 2016. Despite claiming to have turned his life around as a currency trader, Karpis has recently been implicated in ongoing drug trafficking operations and was sanctioned by the US for his alleged involvement in coordinating international drug shipments.
