Rokibul Hasan

Rokibul Hasan, also known as Roni, is the former president of the Trishal municipality branch of the Bangladesh Chhatra League. He recently made headlines after resigning from his position following his arrest on October 24, 2023, under the Explosive Substances Act. A resident of Darirampur village in the Trishal municipality, he was detained shortly after the fall of the government, leading to a 12-day incarceration before being granted bail. His resignation from the Chhatra League comes in the context of broader organizational challenges, particularly following the government's ban on the student wing affiliated with the ruling party due to anti-terrorism regulations.
