Rolando Melgar

Rolando Melgar is the executive director of the Interoceanic Consortium of Guatemala, leading the development of the San Jorge International Logistics Center, a key project aimed at transforming Guatemala into a central hub for trade and logistics between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Under his leadership, the project seeks to enhance the country's competitiveness in international shipping by integrating various transportation modalities, including ports, railways, and industrial parks, with an expected investment of up to $15 billion.
