Roman Baluk

Roman Baluk is a journalist who moved to Ukraine in September 2021, shortly before the onset of the Russian invasion. He has been documenting the impact of the war on daily life in Kyiv, particularly the hardships faced during the harsh winter months, which have been exacerbated by Russian attacks on infrastructure. Recently, he decided to leave the city, seeking refuge after enduring severe cold and power outages.
