Roman Denkovič

Roman Denkovič is a Ukrainian businessman who previously owned the red mud ponds near the Kombinat aluminijuma, having acquired them in 2014 with intentions to process rare metals. His involvement in the area has been controversial due to the ongoing environmental issues, as residents claim that the management of the ponds has not been adequate, especially during summer months when toxic dust poses health risks to nearby communities.
