Roman Torekhanov

Roman Torekhanov is the head of the Presidential Security Service of Kazakhstan and has recently been appointed as the honorary president of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation. He was elected during an extraordinary conference held on August 19, 2025, where he succeeded Kenes Rakhishev in this role. In addition to his leadership position, Torekhanov is recognized as a world champion in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in the professional category, demonstrating his strong athletic background. He has been part of the state security service since 2005, holding various officer and managerial roles, and served as a coach at the Olympic reserve school in Turkestan from 2003 to 2005.
