Romeo Živko

Romeo Živko is a former Slovenian athlete known for his achievements in long-distance running, particularly in road races. He held the Slovenian record for the 10-kilometer distance for 36 years, a record he set on December 31, 1989, in Bolzano, Italy, with a time of 29 minutes and 5 seconds. His remarkable performance stood as a benchmark for future athletes until it was recently surpassed by Jan Kokalj at the Croatian Open Athletics Championship.
