Romuald Traugutt
Romuald Traugutt was a Polish general and a leader of the January Uprising against Russian rule in the 1860s. His connection to the Ożeszkos' chapel is steeped in legend, as he allegedly hid there during the uprising, aided by the renowned writer Eliza Ożeszkowa.
