Romulus Cociaș was a Romanian officer in the merchant marine who was initially set to accompany Constantin Dumbravă on his expeditions to the Arctic. However, he did not participate in the 1927 expedition to Greenland, and his subsequent whereabouts are unknown, making him a lesser-known figure in Romanian exploration history.
