Ronnie Cornwell

Ronnie Cornwell was the father of famed author David Cornwell, who wrote under the pen name John le Carré. A conman and fantasist, Ronnie's troubled past, which included time spent in prison and a tumultuous relationship with his son, heavily influenced the themes of betrayal and complex paternal relationships found in Cornwell's novels, notably in 'A Perfect Spy'.
