Ronny Clyde Aloema

Ronny Clyde Aloema is a Surinamese politician and former athlete, having served as a member of the National Assembly since his election five years ago. A former goalkeeper for the national football and futsal teams, he has expressed a desire to improve the state of sports in Suriname. Aloema has been vocal about the need for increased funding and infrastructure to support athletes and has founded the Aloema Foundation to bolster his initiatives. Recently, he was included on the candidates' list for the Vooruitstrevende Hervormingspartij (VHP) for a potential second term in parliament.
