Ropince Hutapea

Ropince Hutapea, a 55-year-old resident of Desa Pagaran Lambung II, was recently in the news for his harrowing experience during a natural disaster in Tapanuli, Sumatera Utara. After being cut off from essential supplies due to landslides and flooding, he and other villagers embarked on a grueling three-hour trek to find food, carrying what little they could gather, including instant noodles and kerosene, to support his family of seven amidst the ongoing crisis.
