Rosa de Lima

Saint Rosa de Lima, born in 1586, is the first canonized saint of the Americas and is revered for her deep spirituality and commitment to serving the poor. She became known for her acts of charity, her mystical experiences, and her dedication to a life of penance, ultimately being recognized as the patroness of Peru and the indigenous peoples of the Americas.
