Rosa Fernández is a prominent researcher and the lead investigator in the field of Phylogenomics and Animal Genome Evolution at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology (IBE), a joint center of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and Pompeu Fabra University (UPF).
