Rosa Lupoli

Rosa Lupoli is the Abbess of the Capuchin cloistered nuns' monastery in Naples, founded in 1535. An Ischitana and former volleyball player, she has embraced social media to connect with the faithful, believing it is essential to meet people where they are, even in the virtual realm. Lupoli fondly recalls the visit of Pope Francis to Naples in 2015, where she presented him with a letter regarding the beatification of their foundress, Blessed Maria Lorenza Longo, and was pleased that the Pope later signed the decree for the miracle that led to her beatification in 2021.
