Rosa María González Rincón, a 30-year-old Venezuelan trader, was recently captured by Interpol after being a fugitive for four years. She was instrumental in creating synthetic trading algorithms for Generación Zoe, a company implicated in a massive Ponzi scheme. With an arrest warrant issued in Argentina, she had been evading authorities while allegedly embezzling significant amounts of cryptocurrency. Rosa María reportedly stole 611 bitcoins, valued at millions, during the company's collapse in 2022. After seeking refuge in Venezuela, she faces extradition challenges due to diplomatic tensions between Argentina and Venezuela.
