Rosario Magnifico

Rosario Magnifico is a Sicilian restaurateur living in Bratislava for over a decade. He moved to Slovakia after falling in love with his partner Romana, and together they opened Don Saro Cucina Siciliana, a restaurant celebrated for its authentic Sicilian cuisine. Despite not being formally trained as a chef, Rosario's culinary skills earned his restaurant a coveted chef's hat from the Gault-Millau guide. He draws inspiration from his Sicilian roots and family recipes, emphasizing the importance of authenticity in his cooking. Rosario shares insights about cultural differences between Slovak and Italian dining habits, while also reflecting on the joy of running a restaurant and the connections he has formed with the local community.
